New Campaign Template (UNITE) Key Highlights

Rise Fundraiser have introduced ‘Unite’ as our new campaign template which is enriched with optimizations for key features. It offers improved and simplistic user interface, easy to use options, prominent CTAs, easy to access peer to peer campaign options, contribution form design refresh, ability to add comments.

How to choose Campaign templates while creation of Campaigns?

Click ‘Raise Funds’ to create new campaign

During creation of campaign, click ‘Template’ tab to choose from available campaign templates.

By default, ‘Unite’ campaign template is selected. It is recommended to use our new Campaign template – ‘Unite’ for enhanced recently introduced functions.

How to switch previously running campaign template to our recently introduced template – Unite?

This can be performed by campaign manager, administrators

Navigate to ‘My Campaigns/Gifts’ from user account options from top extreme right

Locate the specific campaign for which campaign template needs to be switched.

Click ‘Edit Campaign’ option for the specific campaign

Click ‘Campaign Settings’ options for the specific campaign

Click ‘Template’ tab to view the currently applied campaign template. Campaign template which is currently applied is highlighted with a tick mark as depicted below (Rise option)

‘Unite’ is our new campaign template with enriched feature sets. Our recommendation is to use this campaign template.

Choose ‘Unite’ campaign template to apply it to your campaign on Rise Fundraiser. You can also preview how your campaign will look like when choosing the specific template from ‘Preview’ option with respective campaign templates. Selection of new campaign template may require changing up of your existing uploaded images from campaign settings to suit up best with new campaign template images specifications. This will display your campaign in new layout when visited from ‘Donate’ menu option or located from quick search option.

Once ‘Unite’ campaign template is applied, campaign will look like below depicted image

Donate Option Visibility

Donate option on the campaign has become more prominent in new campaign template such that donors can easily locate donate button and contribute towards the campaign.

Also, additionally ‘Donate’ option have been introduced as sticky footer which remains constantly visible  during the campaign page scroll down.

 

Contribution Forms

Contribution form user interface have been improved as depicted below.

Donation levels will be displayed for donors to easily select the donation level for contribution.

Also, an additional option of ‘Custom Input’ is available to specify own amount different than available contribution levels.

 

 Share Options Visibility

Share options visibility have been improved in Unite campaign template.

Share option on the campaign has become more prominent in new campaign template such that donors can easily locate share button and share campaigns using multiple available social networks.

Click ‘Share’ option will display all the social media options as depicted below which can be utilized to share campaign.

 

Also, additionally ‘Share option have been introduced as sticky footer which remains constantly visible during the campaign page scroll down.

 Join Campaign Visibility

Join Campaign visibility have been improved in Unite campaign template.

Join Campaign option on the campaign has become more prominent in new campaign template such that potential champions can easily locate join campaign button and either directly join campaign or join any particular team for specific campaign.

 

Click to ‘Join Campaign’ option will present following mentioned options:

  1. Join as an Individual
  2. Join Team

Click to each of these options will include their own subsequent actions as detailed below.

 

 Since prerequisite to join campaign is to be a registered user and must be logged in to Rise Fundraiser.

So, for not logged in users, below depicted prompt will be displayed to login to join the campaign.

 

 

Individual Fundraising: This allows to join directly to the specific campaign. This will display instructions popup related to champions.

Instructions popup will include ‘Let’s Begin’ and ‘Cancel’ CTAs.

  • ‘Let’s Begin’ CTA will create champion and as soon as the champion is created, one will be presented their own fundraising page to edit.
  • ‘Let’s Begin’ CTA will only create the champion, individual will have an option to deny one’s decision of joining via ‘Cancel’ CTA on this popup page.
  • As soon as someone clicks ‘Cancel’ CTA, user will be presented a popup to rethink of their decision which will include ‘Continue’ and ‘No thanks’ CTA.

  • ‘No thanks’ means someone will not become champion. ‘Continue’ means someone will become champion as soon as ‘Continue’ button is clicked.
  • This will not show instructions popup and directly convert to champion.

Champions will be presented an option to manage their fundraising page. Also, they can configure this anytime again through settings.

 

 JOIN TEAM

Join Team allows to join to any specific team of a campaign.

  • If there is no team existing for a campaign, then this option will not be visible.
  • This allows to perform predictive search for a specific team within all the teams existing which then allows to join the specific team.

  • Click to specific team will include up a popup which explains instructions as to what join team option means and how can someone access their own fundraiser page at the later stage.

  • Popup will include ‘Let’s Begin’ and ‘Cancel’ CTAs.
  • ‘Let’s Begin’ CTA will create champion and as soon as the champion is created, one will be presented their own fundraising page to edit.
  • ‘Let’s Begin’ CTA will only create the champion, individual will have an option to deny his decision of joining via ‘Cancel’ CTA on this popup page.
  • As soon as someone clicks ‘Cancel’ CTA, user will be presented a popup to rethink of their decision which will include ‘Continue’ and ‘No thanks’ CTA.

  • ‘No thanks’ means someone will not become champion. Continue means someone will become champion as soon as Continue button is clicked. This will not show instructions popup, it will directly convert to champion.

 Embed Campaigns

Now, you can embed your campaigns on Rise Fundraiser to any of your own websites, blogs as per your requirements. Following are the available options to embed campaigns:

  1. Donate
  2. Card
    1. Horizontal
    2. Vertical
  3. Badge

Closed Campaigns Visibility

Closed Campaigns will be visible on the campaigns listing with ‘Closed’ tag as depicted below.

Closed campaign detail page will be depicted as below in the ‘Unite’ campaign template.

 

COMMENTS

Unite campaign template allows audience to post in comments to specific campaigns.

Posting Comments

Comments can be posted by typing comments in ‘Type to leave your comment here’ section.

Prerequisite to post comment is logged into the Rise Fundraiser. In case of an attempt to post comments to a campaign without login, below depicted prompt will be displayed:

 

 Actions upon posted comments

Following actions can be performed upon posted comments.

  1. Like Comments

Posted comments on campaigns can be liked by the audience as desired.

  1. Modify Comments

One can edit or delete posted comments on campaign detail as required.

 

Click ‘Edit Comment’ option will present below depicted screen to edit posted comments.

Click ‘Delete Comment’ option allows to delete a specific posted comment. It will present a deletion confirmation before delete operation will be performed.

COMMENTS MODERATION

Comments will be scrutinized via different moderation techniques to avoid spam to get directly posted on campaigns. Comments which pass first level of moderation will directly be posted. Comments which needs to be passed to second level of moderation will display a prompt that a specific comment is under moderation. Second level of moderation will be performed by campaign administrators. Once comments are passed or rejected during the moderation by administrator, one who posted the comment will be appropriately notified via emails about any of these corresponding actions.

Subscribe Campaign Updates

One can subscribe for campaign updates while posting comments.

Confirmation will be presented as depicted below upon successful subscription of campaign updates. Also, one who posted comments will be notified via email upon subscription of campaign updates.

 

 COMMENTS RESPONSE BY ADMINISTRATORS

An administrator can post response against comments left by audience on the campaign.

Click Reply option to post response. Following screen will be depicted to reply against a particular comment.

Response by an administrator will be depicted on the campaign in the comments trail along with label of the campaign administrator.

COMMENTS MODERATION BY ADMINISTRATOR

Comments which fail moderation will be available with campaign administrators for moderation.  Campaign administrators will receive email notification as soon as comment is available for their moderation. Once comments are passed or rejected during the moderation by administrator, one who posted the comment will be appropriately notified via emails about any of these corresponding actions.

Comments under moderation will be visible as depicted below:

 

An administrator can reject or post comments which are available for moderation.

  • Once a comment is posted, then it will be visible in campaign detail comments trail section.
  • Once a comment is rejected, it will not get posted, visible in campaign detail comments trail section. These comments will be marked as Spam and they will be visible as depicted below to the campaign administrators.

 ADMINISTRATION – DELETION OF POSTED COMMENTS

Campaign administrators have ability to delete comments already posted on the campaign page which they consider inappropriate. These comments will be depicted as shown below. These comments can be posted by administrators as and when required through ‘POST’ button.
