Rise Fundraiser now offers the ability to post comments on campaigns such that campaigners can stay connected with their supporters, extended network.
This feature allows audience to post in comments to the campaigns on Rise Fundraiser. All comments posted for a specific campaign will be visible on the campaign page in comments trail section.
How can you post comments?
Navigate to specific Campaign to which comments needs to be posted.
Comments can be added by typing comments in ‘Type to leave your comment here’ section.
Prerequisite to post comment is logged into the Rise Fundraiser. In case of an attempt to post comments to a campaign without login, below depicted prompt will be displayed:
What actions can be performed upon posted comments?
Following actions can be performed upon posted comments.
- Like Comments
Posted comments on campaigns can be liked by the audience as desired.
- Modify Comments
One can edit or delete posted comments on campaign detail as required.
Click ‘Edit Comment’ option will present below depicted screen to edit posted comments.
Click ‘Delete Comment’ option allows to delete a specific posted comment. It will present a deletion confirmation before delete operation will be performed.
Comments will be scrutinized via different moderation techniques to avoid spam to get directly posted on campaigns. Comments which pass first level of system moderation will directly be posted. Comments which needs to be passed to second level of moderation will display a prompt that a specific comment is under moderation. Second level of moderation will be performed by campaign administrators. Once comments are passed or rejected during the moderation by administrator, one who posted the comment will be appropriately notified via emails about any of these corresponding actions.
How can you subscribe Campaign Updates?
One can subscribe for campaign updates while posting comments.
Confirmation will be presented as depicted below upon successful subscription of campaign updates. Also, one who posted comments will be notified via email upon subscription of campaign updates.
Additional introduced flexibility for supporters is to key in their comments once they have performed contribution.
How can Campaign Administrators respond to Comments added by Supporters?
An administrator can post response against comments left by audience on the campaign.
Click Reply option to post response. Following screen will be depicted to reply against a particular comment.
Response by an administrator will be depicted on the campaign in the comments trail along with label of the campaign administrator.
COMMENTS MODERATION BY CAMPAIGN ADMINISTRATOR
Comments which fail moderation will be available with campaign administrators for moderation. Campaign administrators will receive email notification as soon as comment is available for their moderation. Once comments are passed or rejected during the moderation by administrator, one who posted the comment will be appropriately notified via emails about any of these corresponding actions.
Comments under moderation will be visible as depicted below:
An administrator can reject or post comments which are available for moderation. Action performed by Campaign Administrators i.e. Approval/Rejection will send corresponding email notifications to one who posted specific comments.
- Once a comment is posted, then it will be visible in campaign detail comments trail section.
- Once a comment is rejected, it will not get posted, visible in campaign detail comments trail section. These comments will be marked as Spam and they will be visible as depicted below to the campaign administrators.
CAMPAIGN ADMINISTRATOR – DELETION OF POSTED COMMENTS
Campaign administrators have ability to delete comments already posted on the campaign page which they consider inappropriate. These comments will be depicted as shown below. These comments can be posted by administrators as and when required through ‘POST’ button.
